Woke up pretty late this morning and I have only got an hour to get ready for a spontaneous date! Unless it is a special occasion like a gala night or birthday celebrations, I will normally plan my outfits ahead as I do not favour spontaneity very much. I guess I just hate it when things get messy. Although experiencing a little havoc this morning, I managed to put together some of my favourite casual pieces.  

Throwing on my fitting beige top will be the easiest decision to make. Basic earthy colours go well with almost everything. This amazing quality top is a steal I got from my quick shopping spree in a store in Daegu, South Korea. Only 5000 won (~RM20)!
 I love its fine ribbed texture, which goes well with my houndstooth patterned skorts. The round design neckline and its elbow length sleeves accentuated the contours of my body. The houndstooth designed skorts gave a little vintage touch to my outfit. I tucked in my top into my high waisted skorts for a more preppy look as well as to have my waistline to look more defined.

Add a statement necklace to the basic top makes the outfit less boring and plain! My current favourite neck jewelry is the layer necklace. Style your high neckline clothing with these gorgeous long strands of gold layered necklace. It definitely elevate your style to another level. Accompanying the gold necklace, I had my gold arrow bracelet put on as well.

Brown brings out a darker earthy tone for the outfit. My brown ankle boots are always my pick whenever I want to look chic and casual. I love how these colours combined and complemented each other. My black sling bag completed the look. I like how the black bag accented the black houndstooth skorts without overshadowing the warm earthy tones.
